lyrics

And there is life and there is death and I am feeling so hard-pressed to understand the meaning of the past and where it fits in with the the state of the oppressed we see today.

And there are rules and there are laws and there are edicts in the world but it doesn’t to seem to matter to those in control and I wonder when the revolution will begin.

They take our money they take our pride they take the tears we often cry they shake the hands of the church and still they pass us by, they are blinkered to all wars and that’s not all …

They choose cash before the peace and they don’t welcome any beliefs because they lie and still the lied to sometimes applaud the beast and where it’s going to end no one seems to know.

So what do you do?

So what can you say?

Do you just live your life the same way?

Or do you just leave … and walk away?
