Lights Go On
03:56
|
|||
When the lights go on
You have that great idea
So tangible you see it so clear
When the lights go on.
When the day begins
You need to sing a song
Doesn’t need to be very long
When the day begins.
When the party starts
It’s such a great surprise
People dancing with smiling eyes
When the party starts.
When it’s time to go
It sometimes feels so sad
Just remember great times you had
When it’s time to go.

Pixel Intervention
04:43
|
|||
Freeze, frame, view what you will
New, life, revealed as a still
Photograph, the lens it attracts
Secret moments of love it refracts.
Don’t change your pictures of me
It’s who I am and who I’ll be
Just hang it up on your wall . . . and that’s all.
Sci, tech, changes our perception
Magnified, with pixel intervention
Truth blurs, as we change the action
Of where we were and are in these visions.
Don’t change your pictures of me
It’s who I am and who I’ll be
Just hang it up on your wall . . . and that’s all.
Oooh . . . Just wanna be human
Oooh . . . Don’t wanna change my face
Oooh . . . Just wanna be human
Oooh . . . Not a generated space.
Don’t change your pictures of me
It’s who I am and who I’ll be
Just hang it up on your wall . . . and that’s all.

Sunday Painter
03:55
|
|||
Just a Sunday painter, an artist with big dreams
Imagining his models, but they’re nowhere to be seen.
He looks into a mirror, he sees his life going by
Hoping to find a woman, a muse with love in her eye.
Why won’t you look my way
When I’m painting in my dreams?
I only want a portrait of my queen.
He peers out of his garret, he still has hopes and dreams
Stretches another canvas, his life’s not as bad as it seems.
Why won’t you look my way
When I’m painting in my dreams?
I guess that’s the life an artist leads.
Won’t you look my way
When I’m painting in my dreams?
I only want a portrait of my queen.

Sally
04:30
|
|||
Sally stands alone waiting at the bus stop
She’s hoping for and eighty three
Sally’s had enough of further education
She just wants to be free.
No early mornings to darken her mood
No pens or pencils or rules
She wants to travel all over the world
She’s read Kerouac and that’s cool
Packs her bags goes looking for a saviour
Checks the money in her jeans
Leaves at night whilst the wind is howling
She doesn’t want to be seen
Pulls out a map drawn by Mondrian
Given to her by her mother
No street names, just red yellow and blue
It’s hard to find your way by colour.
Turns another page in her notebook
Sings a song and writes it down
Thinks that travel is the answer
Picks up her bags, rides out of town.
Packs her bags goes looking for a saviour
Checks the money in her jeans
Leaves at night whilst the wind is howling
She’s following her dreams
She’s following her dreams

Night Light
04:00
|
|||
We’re creeping around the house
Quiet as a mouse
Looking for a flash light.
Lacking all of our power
For hour after hour
We really need a flash light.
The sun is gone, the moon in cloud
The night it falls like a widows shroud
The owls they call, the foxes bawl
We really need a flash light.
Wax dribbles down my hand
The flame we understand
It’ll be our night light.
Shadows appear upon the wall
Making us look tall
Now we have our night light.
The sun is gone, the moon in cloud
The night it falls like a widows shroud
The owls they call, the foxes bawl
Now we have our night light!

Wandering
05:41
|
|||
There is no time like now, to think
When the clouds hang heavy with rain
We wander lonely as clouds my friend
As nature grows and heals the pain.
So sing me a soft and ancient lullaby
As I wipe the tears from our eyes
Play the music that takes us back in time
To when we were young.
Tomorrow the world continues to turn, slowly
Good times and thoughts keep us sane
Hills and valleys wait patiently like friends
We’ll be wandering there again.
As whispers turn to shouts, we sing
Walking on trails old and new
Hoping the future brings us a little joy
And brings you all happiness too.
